经京东方批准的CHEA会员合同

樱桃山教育委员会为樱桃山教育协会（CHEA）的教师和非认证员工批准了一份为期四年的合同。 非持证员工包括秘书和从事设施、支持和技术工作的员工。

在2月11日的董事会会议上，9名董事会成员批准并通过了谈判小组与CHEA之间的协议备忘录，CHEA代表了近1200名成员。

教育委员会以压倒性的一致通过了对合同的投票。

“I am beyond thrilled by the settlement agreement that has been reached with CHEA.” said Dr. Kwame Morton, 负责人. “Kudos to the 教育委员会, its negotiating team, and CHEA for their collaboration in reaching an agreement that solidifies 樱桃山 Public 学校 as a premier district to work in.”

除了增加CHEA所有成员的工资外，还有新的合同语言来帮助促进员工的健康。

“The Board’s unanimous vote underscores our belief in the essential link between our most valuable resource, our teachers and staff, and the high quality education our students receive each day,” said Gina Winters, President of the 教育委员会.

“This round of collective bargaining was the most productive and collaborative in decades,” said Steve Redfearn, President of CHEA. “This new agreement definitely sends a message to the staff that they are valued and appreciated by the 樱桃山 教育委员会. This contract placed emphasis on both recruitment and retention in the midst of a national and statewide teacher shortage.”

该协议将于2025年7月1日至2029年6月30日生效。
